The purpose of this field guide is to provide a general overview of scour control around waterway bridges, introduce readers to the Austroads 2018 and the Queensland Main Roads 2019 guidelines on bridge scour control and to provide general information on the management soil scour around low-risk, minor bridges that are likely to be found in private property and along minor council roads.
